The Bibendum armchair, created between 1925 - 1926 for Madame Mathieu Lèvy's apartment in the Rue del Lota in Paris designed by Eileen Gray, received its well-deserved recognition when in the seventies Zeev Aram, owner of a furniture factory in London, decided to put some designs from Gray's catalogue back into production. The chair's name recalls "Bibendum, the living tire," the mascot created in 1898 by the advertising artist O'Galop for Michelin, the tire manufacturer. The replica is 100% Made in Italy.
