The Kai collection is composed of lamps that match the table, the floor and the ceiling. The external structure is covered with hand-painted backbones, while the internal structure is covered in Mylar laminate with handmade paper. The painting of the product is made with powder to give a smooth and pleasant finish. For outdoor use, the lamp is made of polyethylene and fibre-reinforced polymers.
